How can I book a Hotrod Tour?
You can book our daily tours through the „Book“ menu. Using the calendar, you can conveniently check for your preferred date and view the pre-planned tours. Of course, you can also contact us via our hotline to schedule a customized appointment. Through our hotline, it’s also possible to arrange individual dates and participant numbers.

WHAT ARE THE PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS?
– A minimum age of 18 years is a basic requirement.
– Class 3/B driver’s license (car). This must be presented before starting the journey.
– Maximum height of approximately 2.00 meters, with a hip height of 1.10 meters.
– Minimum height of approximately 1.60 meters.
– Maximum weight of 120 kg.
– We enforce a zero tolerance policy for alcohol (Random checks will be conducted).
– No influence of drugs or other medications that impair driving ability.
– Helmet use is mandatory; helmets are provided free of charge.
– Due to construction sites or rush hour traffic, the actual tour route may deviate.
– Our terms and conditions apply.
Acceptance of our liability waiver declaration is a condition of participation.

How many drivers can participate in a tour?
We have a large fleet of vehicles and are equipped to accommodate larger groups and events (e.g., 30+ participants). For organizational reasons and to ensure an optimal tour experience, we limit the group size to approximately 10-12 people. However, multiple groups can ride simultaneously or with slight time offsets. For specific inquiries regarding this matter, it’s best to contact us through our hotline. In our online booking system, tours are limited to 10-12 participants, but additional drivers are possible.

How tall or heavy can I be to participate?
The size specifications we provide are rough guidelines. The best way to determine if they apply to you is through a test sitting on-site. If you’re unsure whether you’re too small or too large for our vehicles, simply contact us beforehand via our hotline or arrange a test sitting.
– Maximum height of approximately 2.00 meters, with a hip height of 1.10 meters.

If you happen to be too tall or too short for one of our mini-hotrods, we also offer an open variant. These Kreidler karts are technically identical to our mini-hotrods but additionally feature a simple seat adjustment and (due to the open construction – no chassis) provide more legroom and space for your knees. However, regarding the availability of these vehicles, it’s essential to inquire with us beforehand.
Safe operation of your hotrod and its associated pedals is a basic requirement for a safe and enjoyable tour. We’re happy to provide you with information on all questions regarding our vehicles.
What do I need to bring to the tour?
A valid Class 3/B driver’s license is mandatory. This must be presented before the start of the tour. Without a valid driver’s license, participation in the tour is not possible! If you have vouchers for your tour, please bring them printed or in their original form to the tour. Additionally, you should wear sturdy footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather. For cooler temperatures, gloves are advisable but not mandatory.

MAY I BRING MY OWN HELMET?
Private motorcycle helmets are permitted as long as they comply with the requirements of the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO). The driver is responsible for the fit and condition of the helmet. Permitted types include: Full-face, motocross, and chopper helmets. Not permitted are: „Eggshell“ helmets and bicycle helmets.
If you don’t have your own helmet, you will receive a complimentary rental helmet from us before the tour begins. For hygiene reasons, you will need to wear a beanie or balaclava underneath. You can bring your own, or alternatively, you can purchase one from us on-site for 2€ each.
What happens if rain is forecasted for my tour day?
Even though rain and bad weather might not deter a true Aachener, for safety reasons, we rely on dry weather during the tour. Booked tours must be rescheduled in the event of rain, and together we will find a new, flexible date.
In case of poorly forecasted weather, you also have the option to reach out to us at any time and reschedule the tour free of charge to a new date. If the tours cannot take place on the scheduled day due to weather conditions, we will also contact you via the contact information you provided. You will be notified as soon as possible via SMS, a phone call, or email. If a new date cannot be immediately scheduled, you can take your time. In the meantime, we will credit the already paid tour (e.g., via prepayment) with a voucher.
Originally, hot rods were built based on cheaper, older models from the pre-war era. Weight was reduced, and a more powerful engine was installed. In the 1940s, returning soldiers from World War II or even teenagers from wealthier families found an affordable way to engage in drag racing. The first „hot rodders“ thus became pioneers of drag racing. Nowadays, „hot rodding“ is a form of automotive subculture. The scene has long since moved away from the lifestyle and feeling of the 1950s. However, just like back then, there is still a certain rebellious image attached to hot rodders today.
The classic foundation of a hot rod, at the beginning of its era, was any available compact car, such as the Ford Model T or Ford Model A, with the most popular models originating from the years between 1932 and 1934. The US customizer scene recognizes various categories, which differ from each other, among other things, through clearly defined style rules, especially regarding the used bodywork and models. Until the year of manufacture 1949, appropriately tuned vehicles are referred to as hot rods. This also applies to replicas. The bodywork for hot rods increasingly comes from the workshops of modern bodybuilders because original, historical all-steel bodies, such as the 1932 Ford Model B, the „Deuce,“ are becoming rarer. Our hot rods follow the design of the original hot rod, although somewhat smaller and handmade. Nevertheless, the unmistakable driving pleasure associated with the original hot rod remains.

Where can I get vouchers for a Hotrod tour?
You can view all vouchers and gift options in our online shop. The vouchers are redeemable for all our high-octane tours for three years. Of course, you can also purchase your voucher directly at our station (Please note the opening hours and feel free to call ahead if we happen to be on a tour).
In addition, you can also purchase our vouchers at almost any advance ticket outlet in Germany (CTS/Eventim) and at Kapuziner Karree Aachen (KLENKES TICKET).

How can I advertise on your hot rods?
The advertising on our hot rods is a real eye-catcher. Every day, we drive through the region and continuously attract curious looks. Photos of the hot rod tours end up on various social media platforms all by themselves. Is filming (e.g., using a GoPro) allowed during the tour?
Filming during the ride is permitted with an action camera. You can bring your own action camera or rent one from us, including a memory card, for the duration of the tour. We offer various mounting options for the action camera, such as on our helmets. Please consult our guides on how to attach the camera to avoid damaging the vehicles.
Filming with a mobile phone during the ride is NOT allowed! Both hands should be on the steering wheel, and your focus should be on the road.

Are there also two-seater hot rods available?
No, all of our hot rods are exclusively single-seaters. Additional passengers (e.g., children) are explicitly not allowed in the vehicle. Each participant will have their own vehicle and must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license (Class 3/B) (see terms and conditions). People without a driver’s license and/or children are not permitted to participate in our tours.
How can I cancel my tour?
Please refer to our cancellation policy in case of cancellation or changes to the number of participants for your tour. Generally, bookings made with the agreed number of participants are binding. If you need to adjust the number of participants for your tours, please inform us as soon as possible. Failure to show up for the tour or failure to meet the applicable participation requirements before the start of the tour (e.g., no valid driver’s license or drug influence) will result in the full payment of the participation fee. Cancellations/changes to a booking must be paid in full 14 days before the tour date. For further information and the breakdown of any applicable cancellation fees, please refer to our Terms and Conditions. These will be sent to you after your booking and can also be viewed in advance on our website.
Are there parking spaces at the meeting point?
Parking spaces are available at the location of our station along Feldstrasse. Due to the hot rod tours entering and exiting, we kindly ask you not to park in our courtyard but to use the freely available parking spaces along the street directly at our station. The parking spaces that need to be kept clear are marked with signs accordingly. Parking spaces at our outdoor events are usually also plentiful (e.g., Biker-Ranch).
When do I need to arrive at the meeting point?
Please arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before your tour. This time is allocated for the briefing, selecting helmets, and completing paperwork.
So, for example, if your tour starts at 12:30, you should be with us by 12:00. The 30 minutes are not counted towards your driving time.

How do you operate the hot rods?
Before your tour, you will receive instructions. Our tour guides will explain to you, in addition to our instructional video, all the rules, buttons, and pedals directly on the vehicle. So if you have no experience with our mini-hot rods, that’s no problem. Before we really get going, we also give you the opportunity to get used to the vehicle and, for example, the brakes and steering. In addition, our tour guides also ensure compliance with the rules during your tour and adjust the pace of the tour to the group.
Our instructional videos are available in various languages. This allows us to conduct the briefing at our station in German, English, Dutch, and Spanish for you. The on-vehicle briefing can always be provided in German or English as well. If you wish, you can watch our instructional videos here in advance and prepare yourself.
Where can I find the pictures of my tour?
You can find the photos and, if available, videos of your tour on our social media pages. Simply visit our Facebook and Instagram pages. Of course, you are welcome to download the pictures from there or share them with friends. Please note that it may take a few days for us to post your photos online. It’s best to follow our pages so you don’t miss anything.
